Karachi: CTD Police with the help of federal sensitive agencies arrested the operatives of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan Mufti Shakirullah group.
Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) with the help of federal sensitive agencies conducted a raid in Mehran Town area of Korangi Industrial Area and arrested Muhammad Ejaz Af Adil along with weapons.
According to the spokesperson of CTD, the arrested accused belongs to the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan Mufti Shakirullah group, while the accused had been hiding for 6 years for fear of arrest, and was arrested on the basis of intelligence.
According to the spokesman, Ilyas, the brother of the arrested accused, who has been arrested in several cases before and has gone to jail and is absconding after bail, the CTD officials are conducting further investigation on the arrested accused.
