Karachi: On the occasion of World Milk Day celebrated to highlight the usefulness of milk, the dairy mafia gave the gift of Rs 10 increase in the price of milk, making the blessing like milk further away from the reach of the inflation-prone masses.
A group of dairy farmers further hiked the ex-farm price of milk, which will have an impact of Rs 10 per liter at the retail level, a reduction of around Rs 20 per liter in May and Rs 8 on the first day of June, totaling petrol in a month.
