Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has directed to install track and trace system in all cigarette factories by July 15.
A delegation of Pakistan Tobacco Company met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday. Speaking to the delegation, the Prime Minister said that immediate action should be taken against those involved in cigarette smuggling and tax evasion.
He said that he will not allow anyone to harm the country’s treasury. Strict action should be taken against the cigarette sellers for smuggling and tax evasion.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Advisor Ahad Cheema, Chairman FBR and related officials were also present in the meeting.
