Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan directed to speed up preparations for elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
A meeting of Tehreek-e-Insaf Khyber Pakhtunkhwa officials was held under the chairmanship of Chairman PTI.
Asad Umar, former Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan, Pervez Khattak and Senator Shibli Faraz were also present in the meeting.
According to the declaration, the candidates for the National and Provincial Assembly seats in all the regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were discussed.
It has been said in the declaration that the preliminary recommendations of the Regional Boards regarding the selection of the candidates were reviewed in detail, and various features of the election campaign and election strategy in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were also considered.
According to the statement, Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf directed to speed up the preparations for the elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and instructed the officials to complete the homework regarding the candidates soon.
It has been said in the declaration that the decision of the candidates for the National and Provincial Assembly will be made by Chairman Imran Khan himself.
