Anti-corruption has issued a statement on the issue of arrest of former Chief Minister of Punjab and President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chaudhry Pervez Elahi.
Anti-corruption spokesman says that Parvez Elahi was arrested by anti-corruption team while trying to escape.
Pervez Elahi was wanted by anti-corruption in various corruption cases, Parvez Elahi’s bail was canceled by the anti-corruption court a few days ago.
Spokesman Anti-Corruption said that Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi had submitted a fake medical certificate to the court for bail.
He said that the anti-corruption department was trying to arrest Parvez Elahi for several days.
It should be noted that the President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chaudhry Pervez Elahi has been arrested.
Sources say that former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi was arrested near his house. Parvez Elahi was going in the car when the police stopped the car and arrested him.
Sources said that Chaudhry Parvez Elahi was arrested by the anti-corruption police.
Chaudhry Parvez Elahi’s spokesperson confirmed the arrest of the former Punjab Chief Minister.
