CCPO Peshawar Ashfaq Anwar says that contacts between PTI leaders and workers were detected through geo-fencing.
Former MPs Fazal Elahi, Malik Wajid and Pir Fida Muhammad remained in constant contact with the activists, who were present around Radio Pakistan, Bacha Khan Chowk, Assembly Chowk and Qila Balahisar.
Former District Nazim Asim Khan, Meena Khan and other leaders were also in touch with the workers.
Several leaders, including former MPs Fazal Elahi, Malik Wajid and Pir Fida Muhammad, are absconding.
CCPO Ashfaq Anwar said that the PTI protestors are absent from their homes due to the fear of arrest.
5 cases have been registered under anti-terrorism in Peshawar and 275 accused have been arrested.
