Upgradation of the runways of Quetta International Airport was completed and made operational.
Upgradation of the main runway (13L/31R) of Quetta International Airport, the provincial capital of Balochistan, has been completed and made operational.
The first flight PK 325 from Islamabad to Quetta on the main runway landed at 6:20 am.
Airport Manager and Project Director were present at the landing site.
After landing on the upgraded runway, the pilots of the plane met the airport manager.
In the meeting, the pilots congratulated the airport manager on the completion of the project.
Pilots said they enjoyed a smooth and beautiful landing, the poppy lights installed on the runway are spectacular.
According to the spokesman, the upgradation of the runways cost Rs 5 billion and the runway is equipped with the latest airfield lighting system.
