Sardar Amjad Ishaq was the judge of Accountability Bureau Azad Kashmir
Islamabad: During the alleged robbery in the area of Rawat police station, the robbers killed the serving judge of the Accountability Bureau on resistance.
A dacoit involved in the alleged robbery incident in the private housing society Phase 8 was arrested with serious injuries. The police reached the spot and started the investigation.
According to the police, 5 accused entered the house for the incident, where there was firing on resistance and due to the shooting of the bandits, the judge of Accountability Bureau Azad Kashmir, Sardar Amjad Ishaq, was killed while one bandit, Farhad, was arrested with injuries.
As soon as the information was received, the police officials reached the spot and started the investigation after collecting the evidence. CPO Rawalpindi Khalid Hamdani took notice of the incident and called for a report and directed the SP President to reach the spot and collect the evidence.
Later, post-mortem was conducted on the body while the injured robber was shifted to the hospital for treatment. Police officials say that the incident is being investigated from all angles. Other accomplices of the arrested accused will also be arrested soon and brought to justice.
