Javed Sheikh, a well-known senior actor of Pakistani drama and film industry, became emotional while remembering his mother’s hard work and efforts.
In an interview given to a private channel, actor Javed Sheikh also expressed regret that he could not serve his parents, especially his mother.
Answering the host’s question, Javed Sheikh said that his financial situation was not good as a child, his mother raised 8 children in one room and took care of their needs.
He said that the father used to go to work in the morning, after which he would spend most of the time with the mother, during which he would also help her in household affairs and take care of the younger siblings.
He would give whatever he earned from acting to his mother so that the needs of his younger siblings could be met.
In response to a question, he said that his father was not in favor of his acting, but his mother supported him and whenever he went to record a drama on the radio, his mother would hide it from his father.
During the interview, he expressed his disappointment that he could not make his mother perform Hajj or Umrah.
