Jerusalem: Jews have established their own religious school in the occupied West Bank area of Homsh, where the entry of Jewish settlers was prohibited.
According to international media reports, the school was built in Homish, one of four outposts in the West Bank, which was vacated in 2005 as part of the Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.
An act of the same year barred Israelis from re-entering the area, but in March the Israeli state violated the act and resettled Jewish settlers.
On the other hand, anti-settlement groups say that the construction of more settlements in these areas destroys the hopes of an independent Palestinian state. In this regard, Israel’s close ally, the United States, has also expressed concern over this move.
