Quetta: Governor Balochistan Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kaktor said the government is accelerating trade activities with Iran and Afghanistan to promote cross-border trade.
In a meeting with the delegation of Qila Saifullah and Badbani under the leadership of Nawabzada Mahbood Jogezai, Governor Balochistan said that businessmen and industrialists cannot be ignored in any way in terms of eradicating poverty and backwardness from the province.
He said that the problems of poverty can be overcome only by expanding the border trade and fulfilling the basic needs of the traders.
Governor Balochistan said that the government is trying to promote cross-border trade and speed up trade activities with Iran and Afghanistan, which will benefit the traders and people.
He said that the focus is on increasing border trade and paving the way for businessmen to access the commercial markets of neighboring countries. Economic system will get stability, but economic and commercial activities in Balochistan will increase tremendously.
