Former Federal Minister Sheikh Rasheed approached the Islamabad High Court to stop his transfer from Islamabad to Karachi.
Sheikh Rashid, through his lawyer Sardar Abdul Raziq Khan, filed a petition in the Islamabad High Court to stay the extradition in the Karachi and Murree cases.
Sheikh Rasheed took the position in the petition that I should not be handed over to Murree or Karachi police, that my life should be bailed.
He said that Imran accused Asif Zardari of murder which I mentioned, the plaintiff in the cases against me is not the victim.
Sheikh Rasheed has requested in the petition that more cases should be stopped due to political rhetoric, the cases of Abpara, Murree and Karachi should be declared illegal.
In the petition, it has also been requested that the case of Karachi should be declared as an excess of jurisdiction or transferred to Islamabad, and the transfer to Karachi should be prevented until the final decision of the case.
The IGs of Islamabad, Sindh and Punjab and the Home Secretary have been made parties to the petition.
It should be noted that a case has been registered in Karachi against the former Federal Interior Minister, the arrested leader of Awami Muslim League, Sheikh Rasheed, and the Karachi Police team has reached Islamabad to arrest him.
According to police sources, a case has been registered against Sheikh Rasheed and the FIR has been sealed.
In Karachi, the FIR has been filed by Khuda Bakhsh, Senior Vice President of People’s Party PS 112.
