Punjab Elections, ECP's revision petition will be heard today


The hearing on the Election Commission’s revision petition on the elections in Punjab will be held in the Supreme Court today.

A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Atta Bandial will hear the application at 12 noon.

Election Commission lawyers will continue their arguments in today’s hearing.

Earlier, in the last hearing of the case, Tehreek-e-Insaaf submitted its reply and said that the Election Commission wants the Supreme Court to revive the doctrine of necessity.

Tehreek-e-Insaaf requested the Election Commission to reject the review appeal and said that the Election Commission has raised new points in the review appeal, while new points cannot be raised in the review appeal, the Election Commission wants to give fresh arguments in the review appeal. .
