An inquiry has been started against former Director General (DG) Hajj Sajid Manzoor Asadi in Saudi Arabia.
Former DG Hajj Sajid Manzoor Asadi is accused of corruption in medicine and food contracts.
Federal Minister Talha Mehmood said that complaints have been received against Sajid Manzoor Asadi, some evidences have also been found.
He said that any kind of corruption or negligence during a duty like Hajj is intolerable.
Talha Mehmood said that if corruption is proved in the inquiry, I will hand over the matter to FIA.
He said that any kind of negligence and corruption during Hajj is not acceptable. After the obligatory Hajj, I will conduct an audit related to Hajj.
The Federal Minister of Religious Affairs said that there will be no forgiveness if someone is found involved in corruption. If the Hajj assistants fail to serve the pilgrims, they will be recalled.
