Mumbai: India’s famous actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has disclosed about the Bollywood industry and said that despite his excellent and recognized abilities, he was never offered a mega budget film.
In a recent interview, the actor lamented that in Bollywood, less talented artists get good roles because of their connections with influential people.
He said that middle-class actors get more attention in the industry because they have wealth and powerful friends who create opportunities for them.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui added that no one speaks against such average artistes because their friends have a lot of power.
The actor said that people call Irrfan Khan and Manoj Bajpayee as great actors, but no one dared to invest 50 crores on them and did not make a big film with them.
It should be noted that Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s new film ‘Jogira Sa Ra Ra’ has been released on May 26, which also features Neha Sharma and Sanjay Mishra.
