Voting continues today in the second phase of the presidential election in Turkey, where President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Kemal Kilic Daroglu are competing.
According to foreign news agencies, the polling process started at 8 am local time and will continue till 5 pm.
According to foreign media, President Erdoğan got 49.5 percent of the votes and 44.9 percent for Kamal Kılıç Daruğlu in the first phase.
According to reports, Sinan Awan, who came third with more than 5 percent of the votes, has announced his support for President Erdogan.
It should be remembered that the voter turnout was 90 percent in the presidential elections held on May 14 in Turkey, but as no candidate received 50 percent of the votes, the president could not be decided and the election process entered the second phase.
It should be noted that elections are held in Turkey every 5 years.
