Chance of heavy rain in Sindh under western winds

Karachi: Westerly winds have entered Balochistan, the westerly system is likely to spread to Central Upper Sindh from today.

Under the influence of the weather system, there is a possibility of heavy rain with wind and thunder in Jamshoro, Sanghar, Khairpur, Sukkur, Kashmore, Jacobabad, Larkana, Qamber Shahdadkot, Shaheed Benazirabad, Nowshero Feroze from today to May 31.

Apart from this, there may be thundershowers and heavy rains in Matiari, Hyderabad, Tando Muhammad Khan, Tandwalhiar, Mirpurkhas, Umarkot and Tharparkar.

Under this system, hailstorm is also expected in the districts of rural Sindh. Strong winds may damage vulnerable property and standing crops in Upper Sindh, while people are advised to stay in safe places in view of strong winds.

On the other hand, the weather in Karachi is likely to remain hot and humid during the next 3 days and the maximum temperature may be recorded between 34 and 36 degrees.

According to the Department of Meteorology, between morning and afternoon, sea winds may blow in West Balochistan and Syria. The humidity is likely to remain between 75 and 85 percent with high humidity.
