Earthquake tremors were felt in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree and Upper Neelum Valley.
According to the Seismological Center, the magnitude of the earthquake was recorded at 6.0 while the depth of the earthquake was 223 kilometers underground. The epicenter of the earthquake was the Tajikistan border.
Strong earthquake tremors were felt in Sharda, Keil, Halmat, Dudhniyal and Sheikh Bela areas of Upper Neelum Valley.
Due to the earthquake, people came out of their houses reciting Kalima Tayyaba, but no loss of life or property was reported.
