An incident of alleged desecration of a girl’s body has taken place in Gujranwala.
Unknown suspects dug up the grave and removed the top slab while the shroud was still in place.
Police have registered a case against one named and 3 unknown accused in the incident and started investigation.
Apart from this, a man allegedly burnt his daughter alive in the name of honor in Jhang, seven accused including the deceased’s father and brother were arrested.
According to the police, the deceased was divorced and wanted to get married.
