Karachi: The School Education Department of the Government of Sindh has issued an advisory regarding summer vacations for students.
This advice has been issued in the form of a letter by the Additional Director Private Institutions Sindh Professor Mallah to the parents, in which the parents have been given various suggestions and asked to keep their children away from electronic devices and closer to themselves. For healthy activities, send students to the sports field and organize trips to recreational, touristic and historical places.
The advisory tells parents that summer vacations are for two months in June and July and the general impression is that these vacations are meant for relaxation and enjoyment, but the reality is quite the opposite. There is no denying the fact that summer vacations are a great opportunity to escape from the academic pressure of the previous academic session, find sources of relaxation and mental health.
The letter issued by the Directorate of Private Institutions further states that a 60-day simultaneous break or detachment from regular educational activities is actually an opportunity for parents to spend better time with their children, nurture them and build their character. It is a golden opportunity to work together and develop a close relationship with them, parents spend time with their family, listen to their problems and make them feel that you are not just their parents but also their friends.
Further, regarding children’s sports activities, the letter said that parents should pay attention to their children’s health during this period and encourage children to engage in healthy sports activities so that they can spend their time away from electronic devices and play. spend in the field so that they can become successful and healthy people in the field of sports.
In terms of out-of-town activities for tourism, parents are advised to expose their children to the natural beauty of Pakistan and also take them on inland recreational and touristic and historical places to learn about their culture and history. Gain knowledge.
