Lahore: Allegedly due to the negligence of the staff in the nursery department of the Children’s Hospital, three newborns were burnt due to burns, out of which one newborn died and two were injured.
According to the details, the incident of burning of the children occurred during the treatment in the nursery, the hospital staff allegedly gave too much heat to the child in the nursery due to which the three children were injured and later one of the newborns died.
On the other hand, the director of the hospital, Prof. Saleem, formed an inquiry committee after the incident of burning children, which will be headed by Prof. Javed Iqbal. He said that the condition of both the injured children is out of danger. He said that biomedical engineers are also included in the committee.
