16 people were injured in a powerful explosion in the northern province of Baghlan, Afghanistan, no one immediately claimed responsibility for the explosion.
According to Afghan News Agency, there was an explosion in Pol Khamri, a city of Baghlan, and the injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital.
Taliban officials did not respond to the blast, nor did any group or individual claim responsibility.
The news agency said in its report that the main opponent of the Taliban government is Daesh Khorasan, which is killing Taliban members, foreign citizens and civilians in various attacks.
Recently, Taliban forces have increased operations on ISIS hideouts to drive the militants out of the country.
