Former federal minister Khusro Bakhtiar distanced himself from Tehreek-e-Insaaf, he said that a year ago he had told the top leadership of the party that confrontation with institutions would be harmful.
Khusro Bakhtiar said in his statement that PTI core committee membership and South Punjab chairmanship also left years ago.
He said that the heart-wrenching events of May 9 forced me to move away from PTI’s philosophy.
Khusro Bakhtiar said that he cannot continue with the political philosophy of Tehreek-e-Insaf.
He said that my 25 years of experience covering the duties of local, provincial and national projects, I am sure that the future of Pakistan is not in the politics of division and confrontation.
