US Ambassador Donald Bloom met Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad. The Finance Minister apprised him about Pakistan’s economic and trade relations with America.
Ishaq Dar said that Pakistan has historical and sustainable bilateral relations with America. The Finance Minister also briefed the US Ambassador on dealing with the challenging economic environment.
According to the Ministry of Finance, on this occasion, the enhancement of existing bilateral relations between the two countries was discussed.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that efforts are being made to fulfill the financial obligations.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the US Ambassador was briefed on revenue and expenditure related projects. Donald Bloom was also briefed on the ongoing program of the IMF.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the US ambassador was assured to complete the IMF program.
The American ambassador said on this occasion that there are good relations between the two countries and will remain.
The US ambassador expressed confidence in the policies and programs of the government. Donald Bloom said that bilateral economic investment will be promoted between the two countries.
He further said that cooperation will continue to further advance trade relations.
