Deputy Director Gwadar Development Authority Abdul Rahim Baloch has said that a dead blue whale was found on the beach in Jiwani area.
He said that the length of the dead blue whale was 42 feet, the weight was not estimated, the whale was of large size.
They said that the cause of death of the blue whale could not be determined, it had deep wounds on its tail.
Abdul Rahim Baloch said that the blue whale seems to have been injured by hitting something heavy.
He said that blue whales have been spotted near Makran beaches before, 10 species of whales are found in Gwadar sea.
He added that the remains and structures of dead blue whales will be preserved.
