Karachi: On May 3, the CCTV footage of men touching women in a residential building near Dodaria came to the fore.
The accused who tortured the women filed a case against the woman’s husband, but when the video came out, the real face of the accused who filed the case came out.
In the footage, it was seen that the women who were already in the elevator prevented more people from entering, after which they got into a scuffle after being verbally abusive.
The security guards of the apartment reached and disposed of the matter, after the fight in the elevator, the husband of the victim came out with a weapon, the video of which also went viral.
Police officials said that in the case filed on May 18, the plaintiff had named Adnan Rana, the woman’s husband.

The plaintiff had stated in his statement that he has been working as a cook for Muhammad Imran son of Muhammad Aslam Abru at the said address for the last 8 months and is residing here.
The cook who tortured the woman had said in the case that on May 3, 2023, I was waiting for the ground floor elevator to go to my flat with Mirza Khan son of Bagan, and when the elevator came, I was already in the elevator. There were two women.
When we started going to the elevator, around 11:30, 12:30, these women abused us and abused us. We came to the ground and these women called someone. At that time, Muhammad Adnan Rana came with three unknown companions.
Muhammad Adnan Rana had a pistol in his hand, they slapped us and Muhammad Adnan Rana fired at me with the intention of killing me.
They freed us and Muhammad Adnan Rana left threatening to kill us. The accused has said in his statement that I claim that legal action should be taken against Muhammad Adnan Rana and his three unknown associates.
The police arrested Adnan Rana, the named accused in the case, who is now on police remand.
Now, the initial CCTV footage of the incident, which was captured by a hidden camera in the lift, has surfaced, in which the person who filed the case is torturing the women, who is actually Imran Abaro’s cook. Imran Abro was also present in the elevator.
In the footage, it is clearly seen that a person is not only handcuffing the woman but also holding her by the neck, punches are also being thrown to kill the woman. And filed a case against his other family members.
