Peshawar: (Dunya News) Caretaker Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Azam Khan assumed his post, he was presented a guard of honor at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat.
Chief Minister Muhammad Azam Khan said that clean and transparent elections in the province is the first priority, conducting elections is the responsibility of the Election Commission, the provincial government will provide full support to the Election Commission.

He said that there is a problem of law and order in the province, he will try to maintain peace, he will also raise the issue of arrears of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with the federal government.
Mohammad Azam Khan said that he will raise the issue of funds of NFC, NHP and merged districts with the federal government, and will try to promote better governance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
