Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has requested in the petition that the implementation of Article 245 should be annulled and the arrests of Tehreek-e-Insaf workers should be stopped.
The petition has requested that the trial of the civilian under the Army Act should also be declared null and void, the trial of the civilian under the Army Act and the Official Secrets Act should be declared unconstitutional.
The petition said that a judicial commission should be constituted to investigate the events of May 9, Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz propagandized that Imran Khan wants to bring his army chief.
The federal government, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, Asif Zardari, Bilawal Bhutto, Maulana Fazlur Rehman and others have been made parties in the petition on behalf of Imran Khan.
