Pakistan Martyrs Day will be celebrated across the country today, the main ceremony will be held at the Martyrs’ Memorial at GHQ.
Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir will be the chief guest of the ceremony, Chief of Naval Staff and Chief of Air Staff will also pay homage to the martyrs.
Ceremonies will be held at the memorials of martyrs in Pakistan Air Force, Naval Headquarters, Formation Headquarters, and ceremonies will also be held at the memorials of several police martyrs.
There will be martyrs’ solidarity walk in Islamabad’s Constitution Highway and provincial capitals, recitation of Quran and prayers will be held for the martyrs.
ISPR says that the eternal sacrifices of the martyrs cannot be allowed to offend anyone, the nation of Pakistan will remain indebted to the martyrs and their proud families.
According to the statement issued by ISPR, martyrs were our pride, are and will always be, today is a day for the entire nation to pay homage to every martyr.
