He said that Imran Khan has said many times that if Pakistan did not have a powerful army, the situation of Pakistan would have been like the countries where the situation had deteriorated.
He said that Imran Khan himself had said that the country needs more army than Imran Khan.
Asad Umar said that strict action should be taken against those involved in the events of May 9, but it is very important to release the innocent as soon as possible.
Earlier, Asad Umar was released from Adiala Jail, according to the jail administration, Asad Umar was released on a court order.
It should be noted that the Islamabad High Court had issued orders to release Asad Umar.
According to the sources, Asad Umar left after his release sitting in a private car from gate number one. He was not arrested again after his release.
On the other hand, Punjab Police personnel were still present outside Adiala Jail and fears were being expressed that they would be arrested twice.
