Imran Khan appears before NAB, seeking answer on illegal transfer of 190 million pounds

Islamabad: Chairman PTI Imran Khan has appeared before NAB where he has been asked to answer for the illegal transfer of 190 million pounds.

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan reached NAB Rawalpindi in the British Crime Agency investigation case of 190 million pounds. Earlier, security was tightened outside and around the NAB office.

Imran Khan was directed by NAB to appear before the Combined Investigation Team at the NAB office today. In this regard, the NAB team summoned Imran Khan on May 18, but he was absent. On the arrival of Imran Khan at NAB Rawalpindi today, 20 questions have been asked regarding the illegal transfer of 19 crore pounds.

According to the sources, NAB has today issued a notice to former Prime Minister Imran Khan to be involved in the investigation of the 190 million pounds scam, however, the notice was not issued to Imran Khan’s wife to appear today.

Meanwhile, the Islamabad High Court has reserved its decision on the plea of ​​former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s adviser Mirza Shehzad Akbar against the summons in the NAB case in the 190 million pounds case.

Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb and Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir heard the case, in which Qasim Wadud appeared in court on behalf of Shahzad Akbar. The lawyer argued in the court that the inquiry into the Al-Qadir Trust case has been converted into an investigation and yet the inquiry report has not been provided.

The lawyer pleaded that now another call-up notice has been issued by NAB, the court should suspend it.

Islamabad High Court Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb remarked that we will consider it.

It should be noted that Mirza Shahzad Akbar has filed a request to join the NAB investigation through video link, while NAB has not yet submitted a response to the request to join the investigation through video link.
