The federal government has decided to celebrate martyrs’ day on May 25.
According to the sources, official level rallies will be held on Martyrs Day and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif himself will lead the rally.
Sources say that a public holiday on May 25 on Martyrs’ Day has not been decided yet.
Yesterday, Chief of Pakistan Army General Syed Asim Munir had announced to celebrate Pakistan Martyrs Day on May 25 and said that a strong army is the guarantor of the security and unity of the country.
General Syed Asim Munir while addressing the awarding ceremony in honor of martyrs and veterans at General Headquarters Rawalpindi said that attacks on installations are intolerable, sacrifices of martyrs and services of veterans are our valuable assets.
