In connection with the appearance of Chairman PTI Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi today, security has been tightened at the judicial complex and NAB office in the federal capital Islamabad.
A heavy police force has been deployed outside the judicial complex, the adjoining roads have been sealed.
Non-related persons have been barred from going to the judicial complex.
After checking by the police, only the concerned persons are allowed to go to the judicial complex.
Apart from the police, a contingent of Rangers and a counter-terrorist squad have also been deployed outside the judicial complex.
Armored vans and prisoners’ vans were delivered to the NAB office
Meanwhile, in connection with the appearance of former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi at the NAB Rawalpindi office, security has been put on high alert outside the NAB office in Rawalpindi.
The roads adjacent to the NAB office in Melodi area of Rawalpindi have been sealed by the police.
The main highway, adjacent streets and roads from Melody to Lal Masjid have also been sealed with barbed wire and blocks.
Police, Rangers, FC, Elite Force and Ladies Police are posted outside NAB Rawalpindi office.
Rangers personnel are stationed at the main gate of NAB office.
In view of security, the entry of unrelated persons around the NAB office has been prohibited.
Armored vans and prisoners’ vans were also delivered outside the NAB office.
Imran, Bushra Bibi will reach Islamabad at 10 am
On the other hand, Chairman PTI, former Prime Minister Imran Khan along with his wife Bushra Bibi is moving towards Islamabad in a convoy.
Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi will reach Islamabad at 10 am.
Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi will reach the judicial complex first.
Imran Khan will request anti-terrorism court for interim bail in 7 cases.
Bushra Bibi is likely to file a bail application in the accountability court.
After the judicial complex, Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi will go to NAB Rawalpindi office in Al-Qadir Trust corruption case.
Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi will go to the NAB office to be involved in the investigation in the 190 million pound scam case.
Along with Imran Khan, the legal team will also include Salman Safdar, Khawaja Haris, Intizar Panjotha, Gohar Ali Khan and Ali Ijaz.
Imran fears arrest today
Imran Khan has expressed the fear of his possible arrest on the occasion of appearance today and said that I am going to Islamabad, the law is not there, they can arrest me for anything.
Imran Khan has instructed the workers not to riot in case of his arrest, saying that if the workers riot, the PDM will get a narrative, which the government will use for crackdown.
He further said that those who supported us on social media were arrested, these people are deliberately creating an atmosphere so that people do not stand in fear if they arrest me again.
PTI Chairman Imran Khan also said that Supreme Court of Pakistan will save us.
