Rawalpindi’s Sadiqabad police station received a request to register a case against former federal interior minister Sheikh Rasheed.
The petitioner took the stand that Sheikh Rasheed used offensive words against former President Asif Ali Zardari and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto.
The petition further stated that the petitioner and colleagues heard Sheikh Rasheed’s words on social media.
The petitioner also said that Sheikh Rasheed’s abusive words caused agitation among colleagues.
The request for registration of the case in Rawalpindi police station has been given by the President of People’s Party UC 28 Tauseeb Butt.
