The petitioner’s lawyer told the court that we were not even allowed to meet Shireen Mazari in jail.
The court asked the jail authorities whether you forbade them from meeting.
The jail police officer replied that we had 2 meetings with him but last time he came on Saturday evening, I told him you are late, come tomorrow morning.
Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb said that remember they are in jail under MPO, there is no accused, these people are not accused in any criminal case.
He said that he will issue an appropriate order in this regard, a contempt notice cannot be issued to IG Islamabad on this request, IG Islamabad was not made a party to the contempt request.
