Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has said that I still do not understand what was the purpose of bringing down my government.
While giving an interview to the American television channel, Imran Khan said that we are moving towards the law of the jungle.
He said that I never had a problem with the army, there was military rule in the country for half of the last 60 years.
Talking about the country’s economic situation, the former prime minister said that today we are in a worse economic situation than Sri Lanka. Pakistan needs stability at this time which is possible only through elections.
Imran Khan said that democracy is not possible in the country when the government refuses to obey the orders of the Supreme Court.
He said that more than 10,000 PTI workers are currently in jail, there is talk of prosecuting us in military courts.
Imran Khan said that one of the reasons for the assassination attack on me was that my party was becoming more popular. There is an attempt to ban my political party.
