Lahore: India’s Border Security Force (BSF) has claimed to have allegedly shot down three drones and seized more than two and a half kilograms of heroin at the Lahore/Amritsar International Border in the last two days.
The BSF alleged that Pakistani and Indian smugglers are now using drones to deliver drugs and weapons.
According to the BSF spokesperson, three small drones were shot down at three different locations on the Lahore/Amritsar International Border between Friday and Saturday night.
Indian officials also alleged that the third drone crashed in Pakistani territory due to which its wreckage could not be found.
On the other hand, no statement has come out from the Pakistani authorities in this regard. Indian authorities have long claimed that small drones are used to smuggle drugs and weapons.
It should be noted that the border forces of both countries conduct search operations to prevent smuggling and suppress smugglers and many smugglers have been killed in the past.
