A ceremony was also organized before the departure of the pilgrims at Lahore Airport, in which Prime Minister’s Advisor on Religious Affairs Shabbir Ahmed Usmani participated as a special guest.
Chaudhry Saghir Hussain, Usman Shabbir Mayo, Mufti Ekhta Alam, Haji Nazir Ahmed, Iqar Hussain and former MPA Akhtar Hussain also participated in the event.
A special prayer was offered at the end of the ceremony.
Through the Hajj operation, 42 thousand 811 pilgrims will reach Medina, 38 thousand 419 pilgrims will be brought to Jeddah through various flights from all over Pakistan.
National airline PIA will transport 40 thousand 700 pilgrims to the holy pilgrimage, while 36 thousand pilgrims will reach Saudi Arabia through Saudi Airlines.
Air Blow 2 thousand 250 while Sirin Airline will carry 2 thousand 280 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia.
17 thousand 629 from Lahore, 17 thousand 630 from Karachi, 26 thousand 232 from Islamabad, 6 thousand 582 from Multan, 4 thousand 50 from Quetta, 4 thousand 484 from Sialkot, 3 thousand 251 from Faisalabad, 468 from Rahim Yar Khan and 941 pilgrims will go to Saudi Arabia from Sukkur.
81 thousand 230 pilgrims from Pakistan will perform Hajj this year.
