Karachi: Preparations for the introduction of Pakistan’s first air taxi by a private company have entered the final stages. This facility will be introduced in Pakistan by SkyWings Aviation, the booking of which will be online.
The head of the company, Imran Aslam, said that the DA 40 Diamond series model aircraft was leased, after which the aircraft used for the aerial torsoross arrived in Pakistan. The single-engine aircraft will have a seating capacity of four passengers at a time.
He said that emergency service will be available from Karachi to remote areas of Sindh and Balochistan through aerial tour.
According to Imran Aslam Khan, the aircraft is German-made, capable of flying at an altitude of 2000 feet at a speed of 160 km per hour, the app will be introduced to get the service of the aircraft.
He said that the journey to Gwadar by air taxi will be possible in just three hours while Nawab Shah will be able to do it in Swaghante. Also can get these services.
He added that the aircraft can fly continuously for 11 hours with one barre fueling by Jet Fuel One.
