Peshawar: The first Friday prayer after the suicide blast at the Police Lines mosque was attended by hundreds of worshippers.
101 people were martyred and 49 injured in the suicide blast at Police Lines Mosque in the provincial capital on January 30, after which the first Friday prayer was offered today. On this occasion, the mosque was crowded with worshipers, even many people offered Friday prayers outside the mosque.

Senior police officers also participated in the Friday prayers offered in the blasted mosque, while other youths who offered prayers were in high spirits. SSP Operations Kashif Aftab was among the police officers who came for the Friday prayers in the mosque. Abbasi and SSP Coordination Zahoor Babar Afridi were also present.
On this occasion, SSP Operations said that morale of the youth is high, terrorism cannot defeat us.
It should be noted that on January 30, 101 people were martyred and 49 were injured in a suicide blast at the Police Lines Mosque in Peshawar.
