Mumbai: Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan has revealed that his house ‘Mant’ in Mumbai was his dream but he did not have the money to buy it.
In a recent conversation with the media, the actor said that his wife Gauri Khan’s interior design career started from his residence ‘Mant’.
Shah Rukh Khan said, “Apartments in Mumbai are more expensive than bungalows, we bought Mant by adding some money but we didn’t have any money to design it”.
“We called an interior designer and the budget he made to design the house was beyond my salary,” he said.
The actor said that he asked Gauri to design it and then their journey began, they both bought small things and designed the house and it took some time but it worked.
The Bollywood king is all set for the release of his next film ‘Joan’ while his debut film ‘Dinky’ with Rajkumar Hirani is also in the pipeline.
