Quetta: Four people were injured in a suicide attack on the convoy of Jamaat-e-Islami leader Sirajul Haq in Zhob area of Balochistan.
Information Secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami said that there was a suicide attack on the Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Sirajul Haq in Zhub Balochistan, but he is completely safe from the attack.
He said that 7 workers of Jamaat-e-Islami were injured in the suicide attack while the vehicles of the convoy were damaged. Secretary Information further said that a suicide bomber blew himself up near Sirajul Haq’s car.
According to Levies, immediately after the incident, a search operation has been started to surround the area and arrest the suspects.
President’s call to Sirajul Haq, inquired about his welfare
President Arif Alvi telephoned Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Siraj-ul-Haq to inquire about his well-being and strongly condemned the blast.
On this occasion, Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Siraj-ul-Haq said that Alhamdulillah I was completely safe in the suicide attack, death and life are in the hands of Allah.
Prime Minister’s expression of regret
Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has expressed his regret while strongly condemning the suicide attack on Jamaat-e-Islami leader Siraj-ul-Haq’s convoy. While ordering an investigation into the incident, the Prime Minister prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured while also directing the concerned authorities to provide the best medical facilities to the injured.
Chief Minister Balochistan Abdul Qudous Bizenjo while condemning the blast expressed satisfaction over the safety of Amir Jamaat-e-Islami in the terrorist incident.
He said that he will not allow the terrorist elements and their patrons to succeed in their nefarious ambitions. He deeply regrets that 7 people were injured in the incident. He is grateful to Allah Almighty for protecting the Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami and his colleagues. said
