The micro-blogging site Twitter is no longer micro-blogging, but now certain users can upload a 2-hour long video or say a movie on the social media platform.
Twitter CEO Elon Musk has announced that verified and fee-paying users of Twitter’s BlueTick can upload 2-hour-long, 8GB videos to the social media platform.
It should be noted that earlier Twitter users could only share a 150-word tweet and a 10-minute video.
It should be noted that this initiative has been taken by Elon Musk, the head of Twitter, to bring Twitter to compete with the video sharing platform YouTube.
His team has been working on it since last December, initially introducing a feature to upload longer videos as well as control the playback speed of videos like YouTube.
Apart from this, the tweet limit is also being increased to 10,000 for Pad users.
