A fire broke out in a multi-storied commercial building on MA Jinnah Road in Karachi’s Old City area, which was brought under control after several hours of struggle.
More than half a dozen fire brigades and fire fighters reached the spot on the report of fire at Rampa Plaza on MA Jinnah Road near Karachi Sadar.
According to the spokesperson of Edhi Foundation, several of their vehicles and volunteers were also present at the scene.
In the footage received, it can be seen that the Rampa Plaza building was engulfed in flames, according to fire brigade officials, a total of 6 fire tenders were involved in the fire control process.
Rampa Plaza houses doctors’ clinics, various business offices and offices of private companies.
According to police officials, the cause of the fire could not be ascertained and no casualty was immediately reported.
