A case has been registered in Karachi against the former Federal Interior Minister, the arrested leader of Awami Muslim League, Sheikh Rasheed, while the Karachi Police team reached Islamabad to arrest him.
According to police sources, a case has been registered against Sheikh Rasheed and the FIR has been sealed.
In Karachi, the FIR has been filed by Khuda Bakhsh, Senior Vice President of People’s Party PS 112.
In the FIR, Sheikh Rasheed is accused of using inappropriate words about Chairman People’s Party, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
A case has been registered against Sheikh Rasheed under Sections 506/504/500/153 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
Police sources have said that the Karachi Police team has reached Islamabad to arrest Sheikh Rasheed.
Sources have said that SHO and SDPO of Mochko police station Sheikh Rasheed have reached Islamabad to pick up Ko.
Police sources also say that former federal interior minister Sheikh Rasheed will be transferred to Karachi today.
