Forensic evidence recovered from suicide bomber’s helmet, investigative team: Photo: File
Major progress has been made in the investigation of the Peshawar Police Lines blast.
During the investigation of the explosion in Police Lines Peshawar, the face of the suicide bomber was matched while the woman was found involved. The woman’s DNA has been taken and investigations into the bomber’s family are ongoing.
According to CCPO Peshawar Mohammad Ijaz Khan, body parts and helmets of the suicide attacker have been recovered from the debris. The investigation team says that the attacker’s helmet left outside the mosque before the explosion has been found. Forensic evidence has been obtained.

On January 30, 101 people were martyred and 49 injured in a suicide blast in the mosque of Police Lines in Peshawar.
