USAID rice sold at shops in Larkana, video goes viral

A video of selling rice in USAID bags at a shop in Larkana is going viral, after which action was taken against the owner of the shop.

The shop was immediately sealed by the Mukhtarkar Larkana while the sale of Bardana was stopped pending an impartial inquiry into the matter.

Assistant Commissioner Larkana has done fact-finding and submitted an inquiry report to Chief Minister Sindh regarding the viral video of selling rice in USA aid bags.

According to the spokesperson, the matter of using the bardana from USAID is under investigation which is being taken seriously, an inquiry team has been formed under the leadership of Assistant Commissioner Larkana and includes representatives of SIP and WFP.
