A man named Safdar was killed by robbers in Korangi Zaman Town area of Karachi. The victim’s son was also killed during a robbery in Korangi a few days ago.
According to the police officials, the deceased was accused of murdering Safdar’s son. After the incident, tension spread in the area.
The police say that 4 suspects came riding on 2 motorcycles, who fired at Safdar at Pakwan Center and escaped.
After the incident, the injured Safdar was immediately taken to Jinnah Hospital, but he died on the way.
SSP Korangi Tariq Nawaz says that the deceased has been identified as Safdar Hussain and his age was around 60 years.
The deceased was a resident of Safdar area and a few days ago his son Azhar was killed due to resistance during a robbery.
The police is of the position that initially this incident also seems to be a robbery but further investigation of the incident is going on after which the real facts will come out.
