Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) provincial leader and former provincial minister of Punjab Fayyazul Hasan Chauhan was arrested.
Rawalpindi Police has arrested Fayyazul Hasan Chauhan from Murree Road Liaquat Bagh.
Since the attack on the gate of the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on May 9, 2023, the police have started a series of arrests after the identification process.
A case was registered against Fayyazul Hasan Chauhan in Sadiqabad police station on May 9, accusing him of arson and inciting workers.
The former provincial minister of PTI is also accused of burning and vandalizing the Sixth Road metro station
Fayyazul Hasan Chauhan has been granted pre-arrest bail by the Anti-Terrorism Court till May 18.
