The Abu Dhabi Family Court in the United Arab Emirates has sentenced a young man who hacked a girl’s social media accounts.
According to Arab media, the Abu Dhabi Family Court in the UAE fined the young man who hacked the girl’s social media accounts and not only fined the victim 2,000 dirhams as a fine, but also ordered the accused to pay court costs and lawyer’s fees. Also ordered.
The report said that a girl had approached the court complaining that a young man had hacked her email and social media account and changed the password and now he is controlling her social media account.
In her petition, the girl said that this move has caused financial, moral and social damage to her, so the accused should be ordered to pay her one lakh dirhams as compensation, 12 percent profit and court costs.
After hearing the case, the Abu Dhabi Family Court ordered the young man to pay the girl Dh2,000 as compensation in addition to court costs and lawyer’s fees.
In its decision, the court said that the petitioner girl had filed a complaint against the youth before with the relevant institutions. The court held that it is against the law to hack into any person’s social media account and change the password of any social media account without their permission.
In the judgment, the court ordered the youth to pay two thousand dirhams as compensation. Apart from this, court costs and lawyer’s fees should also be paid.
